Barn Gone In Fire At Clarence Benson Farm
A large barn and a machine shed burned down south of town at the Clarence Benson farm, six miles from town. Mrs. Benson woke to flames shortly after 2 am, but neighbors and the Farmers Mutual fire truck could not save the buildings. Loss included hay, oats, a mule, calves, tools, harness, and machinery including a model T Ford.

J H McCreedy Dies at Home Near Haskins
Joseph H. McCreedy age 67 died at his home two and one half miles north of Haskins in Highland township after a heart ailment. Funeral plans pending relatives. services in Jones chapel with Rev. W H Hemphill and burial in Ainsworth cemetery. He was born March 2 1872 near his farm, taught school in Ohio and Kansas, married Nancy Mae Love in 1901, and was active in the United Presbyterian church and local politics. Survived by wife, two sons Dr Murray L McCreedy and Dr Clifford O McCreedy, three grandsons, two brothers Will and Alex, two sisters, and several in-laws.
