Bride of Clarke Holmes Weds in Richland United Methodist Church
Pamela Kay Yoder and Clarke Stephen Holmes, both of Des Moines, were married Saturday at 7 p.m. in Richland United Methodist Church with Rev. Larry G. Willey officiating. The couple, parents Cletus R. Yoder of Richland and Glen C. Holmes of Des Moines, will reside in Des Moines after a short wedding trip.

4-H Club Meeting Highlights Cedar Clippers
Maria Johnson entertained Cedar Clippers 4-H Club on Monday. New officers include Jackie Knupp president Anita Hammen vice president Rita Jones secretary Denise Hammen treasurer Jean Marie historian Linda Jones reporter. Talks covered Portable Lamps Knowing Your Light Bulbs and Your Light and Your Light. Refreshments were served by the hostess.

The J W Baker Women's Relief Corps held a Monday afternoon social at Mrs Glen Gordon's home with 22 present. Margaret Smith gave a patriotic reading and quizzes were presented by Mrs Gordon. A silent auction added to the entertainment and seasonal refreshments were served.

Final rites for Miss Maye Crone held Monday
Final rites for Maye Crone were held at 3 p m Monday at Jones Funeral Home with Rev M C Smith and Rev Richard Peterson officiating. Hymns were sung by Sara Patterson and Lana Kay Weeks. Honorary pallbearers included Donald Lins Richard Weeks Richard Bott William H Jones Cloyce Crone Francis Crone. Active pallbearers were Donald Crone Warren Stewart Harry Drake Lawson Crone. Burial followed in Elm Grove Cemetery.
