Five persons were injured when a pickup truck and an auto collided nearly head on at the Middle River Bridge on highway 65 69 five miles north of Indianola. E. C. Lynn aged 65 a longtime Lee County education leader and former Iowa State Teachers Association president in 1925 died after a weeklong illness at Graham Hospital in Keokuk.
