A car and a Yhouna bus collided on wet pavement three miles west of Casey at 9 30 p m. Monday. The car’s two occupants William Sing 5 and Louis Marens were killed, while A B Korach 44 of Los Angeles suffered severe head injuries and throat lacerations and was hospitalized. Two bus passengers were bruised. The bus was westbound the car eastbound.

Ambrose Jaeger a 39 year old farmer from four miles northwest of Keota died after his right hand was mangled in a corn picker. The amputation led to blood poisoning and his death at Washington county hospital where he had been since October 17. Funeral plans are pending with Marsh Funeral Home. Escaped Iowa Prisoner Captured in Arizona
Forrest Estes, 36, one of three Iowa penitentiary escapees from last June who terrorized the Midwest, has been captured at Peoria Arizona. The capture was confirmed by Dave McCreery chairman of the state board of control. Sullivan and Haenze, the other two escapees, were nabbed after a month of freedom.
