Lawrenceburg Indiana October 20. Squire John Huth one of the oldest most respected residents is dead from a stomach disorder. Years ago he won thirty three wagers in as many days on a bet which doctors say led to a sopronic affection that caused his death.

Columbus Ohio October 20 Deputy U S Marshal Baner received from the district attorney a warrant for the arrest of Mrs Samuel Boswell on using the mails to defraud. She was too ill for custody. Alleged letters to Z J White and Senator Hanna demanded payments of 300 and 500 dollars with the alias Anna Linn. Detected by a decoy letter she admitted the act and claimed only money motivated the scheme.

Unknown claimants and heirs named or not yet identified are listed. order for publication foe six weeks. The court assigns publication in the Washington Journal with service of notice by publication.

In St Louis on October 20 eight hundred workers from Local No 10 8388 of the Laborers Protective union quit the World’s fair. They allege the walkout followed a union leaders order and that the fair company failed to honor a September 5 agreement.
Portland, Oct 20 The federal grand jury has returned an indictment against Malcolm A Moody ex member of congress charging him with withholding a letter from the person to whom it was addressed. The court released Moody on his own recognizance. Moody said The charge is false and malicious.
