He cited untrained hospital corps at times and few attendants. Overall, surgeons were capable but staffing deficiencies drew criticism.
In West Baden Indiana Corbett vows a grand battle with Sharkey and says he will wear the challenger down to win. He plans to move fast from start to finish and then target Fitzsimmons after the bout. Corbett leaves for the East soon to pursue the title bid.
