Two men get life terms in Davenport court
Davenport October 25 two men were sentenced to life imprisonment for criminal assaults. Charles Edward Atwater 35 and Chris Selman 64 received life terms at Fort Madison state penitentiary. Selman cried and asked for a fair trial. Three Niagara Falls youths Seymeant Nichols 17 Harry Olenke 19 and Stahley Flunski 19 pleaded guilty to misdemeanor and were sent to the Anamosa state reformatory for one year.
