Hoover remembered as grand old man of GOP
Mourners from all walks of life filed past the flag draped bier of former President Herbert Hoover at St Bartholomew's Episcopal Church. Hoover died at 90 in his Waldorf Towers apartment. Lying in state began today and memorial service will be held Thursday. Johnson and Goldwater plan to attend. Hoover to be cremated in West Branch, Iowa after two days of public viewing in New York.

Workshop on mental retardation in court house room
