Ronald Gray ten year old son of Mr and Mrs Carl Gray of Burlington died in a hospital here after being struck on a railroad viaduct by a car driven by Harold H Howell of Burlington. Police said the boy ran in front of the Powell car. Coroner R O Giles called the death accidental and an inquest is pending. He noted a skull fracture and internal injuries.

George Whittaker, 49, of Muscatine died yesterday at his home after a long heart illness. He was a nephew of Harry Whittaker of Washington and son of the late A. G. Whittaker, a former county farmer.
