Funeral services for Judge Hunter set for Ottumwa
Funeral services for F. M. Hunter Ottumwa attorney and second district judge for 16 years will be held at Trinity Episcopal church in Ottumwa Wednesday at 10 a m. He was born in a Van Buren county log cabin 78 years ago and graduated from State university law in 1882. He moved to Ottumwa in 1892 after ten years in Council Bluffs where he served as clerk of the federal court and U S commissioner. He served seven second district counties as judge from 1910 through 1926.
