Finney elected president of Washington Township Farm Bureau
Finney President Township Bureau H C Finney of Finney south east of Washington was elected president of Washington township Farm Bureau at the monthly meeting held at the Cloyd Knapp home last night. He will become a director of the county organization taking office the first Monday in Jan. Charles William Jackson was named vice president and Mrs Walter F Brown was chosen secretary and treasurer. The meeting included a final report on the girls 4H state convention at Ames and an address by Emmett Hayes president of the county Farm Bureau.

Riverside remembers Mrs Anthony Kron aged 75 who died Thursday after months of illness paralytic stroke struck her Monday at home. Born Anna Machovee August 6 1858 she married Anthony Kron at Holy Trinity Richmond. The couple lived on a farm near Riverside before moving into town. Survived by husband and three children Leo Iowa City Zitta Kasper Kalona Hubert Riverside and fifteen grandchildren. Funeral plans not announced.
