Trapped Ten Days In Freight Car
Patrick Kelly a 51 year old man rode a boxcar from Los Angeles to Oakland and was trapped when the door was locked. He survived ten days without food or water until a box factory crew opened the car in northern California and he staggered out. He was taken to Siskiyou General Hospital where a cup of water and broth revived him. Kelly said he will not ride boxcars again.
