May Seize Big Copper Stocks Under New Law

Lewis Sues Contractors for 15000 in Damages
J Lloyd Lewis filed a lawsuit against Christensen Brothers a Washington county contractor for culvert and bridge work seeking 15000. The complaint charges that foreman Maurice Olson and several Christensen men left an unfinished culvert unguarded with no warning signs causing Lewis to crash his bicycle on July 22. The washhouse and contents at the O. A. Wallace Jr home 315 Taylor Avenue Shannon Heights were destroyed by fire at eleven this morning. Mrs Wallace was washing when the stove in the washhouse started the blaze. A new washing machine Mr Wallace's carpenter tools and other items were burned. John Custer drove the Farmers Mutual fire truck to the scene and prevented spread to the adjacent house.

New Auto Tax Set At Five Dollars Per Vehicle
