Dubuque Family Killed in Highway 20 Crash
A Dubuque family of four died when their semi collided with another truck on Highway 20 eight miles west of Galena. The deceased are Robert Francis Bauer 26, his wife, and two sons William nine and Robert seven of 490 Hayden Lane Dubuque. Earl Ebr of Mason City, driver of the other truck, escaped serious injuries. The coroner noted the wreckage was severe and described the cab as folded like an accordion.
