Mrs. C Bauer dies after a short illness following tonsil operation in county hospital. Funeral set for Saturday at 2 PM at the Methodist church conducted by Dr Arthur Atack, burial in Elm Grove cemetery. Born Ada Victorine Davis October 27 1871 in West Chester, she married J C Bauer February 23 1892. They lived on a farm near West Chester before moving to 119 North Avenue C Washington seventeen years ago. She was active in the Methodist church and well known in Washington and West Chester.
County Superintendent Lester B. Krabbil announces a rural teachers meeting next Saturday October 24 at the courthouse. Regular county examinations for teachers will be held there October 8 29 and 36.
