CB Benefit Coffee Break For Muscular Dystrophy
The Washington County Citizen's Band Radio Club will host a Sunday coffee break to raise funds for muscular dystrophy. Special guest Tim Lease of Crawfordsville, a MD victim, will attend. The event runs noon to 6 p.m. at the Farm Bureau Building on highway 1 and 92, with all C B users invited and Marie Boileau in charge.

Five women charged after Cedar Rapids tavern go go contest
Five women were released on 125 bond after indecent behavior charges following a raid on the Gold Mine tavern south Cedar Rapids. Owners Terry White and Thomas Brundage faced disorderly house counts. Americans see 0.5 percent rise in September income
