Medina county Ohio farm owner Max Amerman 27 and Gerald Killinger 17 admit killing Harold Mast 23 whose wife Randi Mast 24 drew Amerman’s love. Killinger said he fired a shotgun as Mast stood near the farm house rear door. Amerman had an alibi. Authorities say Killinger’s account uncovered the plot.

Mrs. Blanch M. Ball, 63, of Batavia, died Wednesday after a truck rear-ended the car she rode in on smoke-obscured Highway 92 near Cotter. Passengers Nellie Hoffsetter, Herbert Hanna, and two-year-old Mary Lou Hanna survived with minor injuries. Inquest opened in Louisa County as weed burner smoke contributed to the crash.
