John Gamon Elected President of County Farm Bureau
John Gamon a farmer 60 miles southeast of Washington was elected president of the Washington County Farm Bureau at the annual meeting held Tuesday night in the West Chester school. Joel Jones of Ainsworth steps down as president but will serve as voting delegate. Gamon’s election followed by officers and resolutions supporting price floors for corn and hogs, uniform mileage for schooling, and stronger health and swine programs. Over 275 attended the session with 230 at dinner, as Thomas A. Robb reported progress in soil conservation 4-H work andWomen’s programs in family living education.

May Draft Calls Rise For Men With Dependents

Oskaloosa Trucker Killed In Highway No 1 Crash
