Ex servicemen arrested for attempting to sell atomic bomb photos
Three ex servicemen were arrested by FBI agents in Baltimore as they tried to sell highly secret photographs of the atomic bomb to the Baltimore News Test. The suspects were identified as George Wallace Comer Miles Frederick Daubenheyer and James Barnes Rike. Copies had circulated to unauthorized persons nationwide and some photos were traced to states including Texas California and North Carolina. FBI said the photos were taken on Tinian in the Pacific last year.
