Mrs. Freda Speckman of 1639 North Leavitt street goes to the Sheffield avenue station three hours after finding her husband Charles Speckman with a bullet wound in the head. He is a 53 year old blacksmith and may lose both eyes. She sought an assault arrest warrant, unaware he had attempted suicide.
