Frank Favinger Dies in Nebraska Auto Crash
Frank Favinger of Minden Nebraska died after injuries from an automobile crash at six p.m. yesterday. He passed away at nine p.m. Relatives note he is brother to Mrs. F. Hoxworth and Mrs. T. J. Sehulty. He left his hometown around age twelve and had many friends in the community, having visited here often. His sister and daughter visited his home this summer.

Piney Woods Boys Entertain Crowd at Christian Church
A quartet of blind boys called the Cotton Blossom singers from Piney Woods School Mississippi performed negro spirituals at the Christian church last evening. Lantern slides of the school were shown by a local young man. About half the church was filled and the free will offering brought in around $8. The group sang about twelve numbers and was well received. The singers traveled from Sigourney to Washington on their return to Mississippi.
