Spontaneous Fire Destroys Sofa in Mrs. Kline Home

Late Friday night a sofa used by Mrs. Levi Kline caught fire from spontaneous combustion. The blaze spread quickly until Mr. Kline and Lew extinguished it, though Lew suffered burns to his hands. Household items suffered about $200 in damage in a close call warning of mysterious fires.

Death in Sayre Father of Mrs Lease

Mr. Robt. Cunningham of Sayre died yesterday morning at about seventy. He was a respected Christian gentleman. The funeral was held this afternoon arriving from Sayre.
