Riverside Obituary for Civil War Veteran Charles A Overfelt

Riverside, Nov 19 Charles A Overfelt, Civil War veteran, died Sunday at his daughter Annas home in Ainsworth after several weeks ill health. Born Patton, Missouri in 1845, he lived around Riverside sixty years, served in Co G 12th Iowa Infantry, married Nora Williams in 1862, later moved to Iowa City and St. Louis before settling near Riverside. Interment in Riverside cemetery Tuesday morning. He is survived by his daughter Mrs. Annas of Ainsworth, two grandsons, a granddaughter Enid Moore of Eldon, and a great grandson. Three of five children preceded him.
