A Cuban husband and wife diplomatic team will depart New York this afternoon amid espionage charges against a three member ring led by Roberto Santiesteban Casa nova. The group planned to bomb Manhattan stores and ignite oil refineries in New Jersey. Santiesteban remains jailed on $250,000 bail.

Graveside Services for Lawrence W. Grosscup Held in Brighton
Graveside services will be held at Brighton Cemetery Tuesday afternoon between 2:30 and 3 for Lawrence W. Grosscup 87 who died Saturday in Waterloo Hospital after weeks as patient. Funeral services are planned in Jesup Tuesday morning. He was born November 30 1874 near Magnolia Illinois son of William and Isabell Grosscup. He lived with his son Marshall in Jesup for several years since his wife’s death. Survivors include one son a granddaughter two brothers Fred and Clarence twins both of Washington and a sister Mrs Dora Wilson of Barnes City Indiana. He was preceded by his wife and one daughter.
