Richardson Ordered to Pay Child Support

Mother Is Charged With Poisoning of Girl 12 Years Old
Mrs. Alice Mason 50 was arrested in Delavan Illinois after autopsy showed large arsenic quantities in Mildred Mason 12. She alleged her son in law Harold Reese forced the insurance split from her daughter’s death and said other family members may be implicated. Authorities planned to question Reese and arrest Clinton Armstrong while a new autopsy and medical check for her son Henry 16 were ordered.

Four Jailed On Burglary Count Today
Warren Shafer and three men, John Downs Arnold Morrison and Bill Shafer, are in the county jail charged with stealing goods valued around 250 dollars from Leroy Krotz’s farm home eight miles north of town. Most items recovered at the Shafer home. Burglaries happened Saturday evening eight to eleven while the Krotz family was away. A car with Colorado plates seen nearby. Police report a screwdriver jimmy used to gain entry and muddy footprints inside. A preliminary hearing will be delayed as County Attorney Morrison is out of town.
