Elijah Redibaugh, veteran Big Four railroad engineer, was stabbed by Charles Eastman of Jeffersonville Indiana after a passenger demanded a ride to Indianapolis. The assailant was seized by railway staff and jailed as Redibaugh suffered multiple wounds but is expected to recover.
