County Clerk Julius Alehele seeks court permission for a jury to hear contempt charges tied to an election case filed by Republican county chair Lowry. Cleveland November 11 Director of Police Dunn demanded the resignations of five captains for disobedience of election day saloon closure orders. It was alleged that in many cases saloons remained open despite the directive.
