Car and truck collide in Katona no injuries reported

VFW Poppy Sale Held Despite Bad Weather
The VFW and auxiliary conducted the annual fundraiser with fewer poppy buyers due to poor weather. Shirley Peterson and Dick Peterson won top children's prizes, with Roberta Wheelan and Eleanor Swift tied for third. Frederick Pehler led the boys’ division runner up to Dick Peterson.
