County auditor A L Griffith has been elected cashier of the First Savings bank in Crawfordsville replacing Lee Huston who moves to Columbus Junction as cashier of the reorganised bank there. Griffith plans to resign with the county board promptly and assume duties Monday November 22, with relocation to Crawfordsville in December. He will be missed in the Methodist church and local musical circles.

Uncle Joe Gannon Dies in Danville at Ninety
