Swine Flu Clinic Opens Sunday in Washington County
The first swine flu vaccination clinic in Washington County will be held Sunday November 14 at the Washington Municipal Building from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Over 8,000 doses of the swine flu vaccine arrived Wednesday. The clinic excludes anyone under 18 and those allergic to eggs or chickens. A doctor will be on call. Other county towns will host clinics with times to be announced. All county residents may participate.

Emmetsburg double murder arrests expected next week
Palo Alto County Attorney Mike Neary said arrests are anticipated next week in the October 23 double murder near Emmetsburg. Assistant Attorney General Gary Woodward will join the investigation. Victims were Raymond Henkins, 30, of Emmetsburg and Debbie Laubenthal, 18, of Bancroft, found near the intersection of two county roads about 15 miles northeast of Emmetsburg.
