Charles Milton Kuhn former regular army member who served in the Philippines and on the Mexican border died November 1 1937 at the National Soldiers Home in Washington DC He lived in Sheridan Hall for thirteen years and will be interred November eighth at Arlington National Cemetery with military honors.

After three days of talks in Brussels the nine nations finalize a note inviting Japan to join a diplomatic exchange on the Far Eastern conflict. Amendments from Britain America France and Russia are included with the American proposal stressing that the war concerns all humanity and echoes a Chicago speech by President Roosevelt without direct quotation.
