Ezra H. Smith 83 longtime Cedar township farmer died last night around 11 at his home northwest of Washington after a heart attack. He farmed daily, funeral Thursday at 2 pm at Jones funeral home with Dr. Arthur Atack, burial in Plains cemetery. Born February 8, 1855, he married Eugenia Myrtle Canier April 26, 1882. Survived by his wife, two sons Earl and Walter, eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
