Telegraphic notice reports the death of Dr S N McLean in Cleveland Ohio at age 73. He was a longtime resident here and a physician active in civic and church work. He left the city about twenty years ago and later ran a business in Cleveland. He invented a notable automatic gun once shown with General Joe Wheeler during Chautauqua seasons. The gun is said to be in wide use in Europe.
