Escape Injury When Auto Is Overturned
Three members of Washington high school's graduating class escaped injury with only bruises after a car wreck yesterday afternoon two miles southwest of town. Driver Virginia Shepherd and passengers Mary Berdo and Bob Bostwick sustained minor hurts not affecting their commencement tonight. The car overturned after it blew a tire while attempting to pass another vehicle, with about $200 in damage.

Death of Ralph Palmer 53 at county homes
Ralph B Palmer 53 died at the county homes last night after multiple strokes that ended a farming career near West Chester. He leaves wife Ethel Crawford and three sons Leo, Richard, and Willard, with Willard coming from Jacksonville to his funeral. Burial is in Elm Grove cemetery after services at L A Jones funeral home.
