She lived in South Dakota frontier days and was of sturdy pioneer stock. The body will go to Tripp South Dakota for burial. She lived with the Shannon family in Washington for many years and will be remembered by many here.

Sturgeon Burial set at Keota United Presbyterian Church
Funeral services for Chalmers S. Sturgeon will be held at 2 30 P M Wednesday at the Keota United Presbyterian church. Dr Eastwood of Washington will lead. The Keota farmer died Monday in the Washington county hospital at age 62 after a period of illness. He was born on the Sturgeon homestead and was survived by his wife.
