Norman J Schilling Dies After Illness at County Hospital
Norman Joseph Schilling Sr of North Iowa avenue died this morning at the county hospital from infirmities of old age. He had been bedfast six weeks and at the hospital two weeks. Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 pm at Sherman’s funeral home, with burial in Elm Grove Cemetery. He was born in Washington on March 6 1850s and married Emma Boling March 4 1892. He lived in Chariton and Burlington before retiring to Washington. Surviving are one brother Gary and three sisters Mrs Lena Crone and Mrs Owen Hayes. Six brothers and sisters are deceased.
