A great fleet of Army planes will sweep toward Chicago for an imaginary conquest in a two phase maneuver costing 3 million dollars with 672 planes later concentrating on the eastern seaboard. Five hundred planes joined a massed review over Dayton Springfield and Lewisburg Ohio with no major accidents reported.

County and city officers raided a house on North Pourth Avenue near the water works and found liquor and evidence of heavy consumption over the weekend. Seven Die When Train Hits Auto In Calamus
A Sunday accident in Calamus Iowa left seven youths dead when Walter Mumford 17 of DeWitt drove into an approaching North Western passenger train. The victims, all related, were Martha Berner 20 Medona Berner 19 Bernadette Berner 16 Mona Berner 15 Arand Berner 13 and Mildred Beyers 15. The No 13 train was west bound. Porter cited whistling at the crossing but unable to see the car due to a preceding freight. Witnesses reported the event at the main street crossing.

Hurt in Fall from Freight Near Ottumwa
Lawrence, south of Ottumwa, was found along the Milwaukee tracks east of town at noon today with facial and head injuries. He was on a freight train bound for Davenport and either fell or was thrown during motion. The injury was not serious. he was taken to a doctor and arrangements made to send him home. Police doubt robbery. last memory involves someone striking him, but money remained intact.
