Dunham Morrison Seeks Iowa Supreme Court Seat
Attorney Dunham Morrison Jr. of Washington announces his candidacy for the Iowa Supreme Court subject to the Republican convention in Des Moines on July 28. His bid has county bar backing and support from southeastern Iowa lawyers. Morrison, a 1938 University of Iowa Law School graduate, served in the U.S. Navy in World War II and has practiced in Washington. He and his wife have four children and reside at 60 South Town Avenue. The announcement follows Judge Oscar Hale of Wapello’s retirement and notes three seats are elected every two years for six year terms.
