Charles City Boy of 18 Is Killed by Train
Raymond Nelis aged 18 was killed by a Milwaukee passenger train west of Charles City while walking home from Rudd. He was a Floyd High School student who left school to help on the farm and was a Knights of Columbus member. Survived by parents Art and Mrs Nelis and four siblings. Services set for 9 am Tuesday at Immaculate Conception Church with burial in Roseville cemetery.
