City Beautiful campaign committees named in Washington
Committees to lead the City Beautiful drive in Washington were announced by Mrs. H. G. Richardson. The publicity committee includes Mrs. C. Wilson Paul Gorham K. D. Melcher and Mrs. A Anderson. Des Moines report: Gov Dan W Turner commuted the death sentence of Dr Fred A Woodmansee to life imprisonment. The ruling, after defense appeal, was upheld by the state supreme court.
