Mrs. W F Morton searches for her husband R W Mekiroy who vanished May 3 in Peoria while employed as head cook at Crevecoeur Club House. He left with money after financial worries. police investigation fruitless. Morton believes he may be missing or dead.

First U P Church youth ride to Dawson’s north of city

A group of young people from the First U P Church enjoyed a hay ladder ride behind four horses to Jos Dawson’s, with games and charades at the social. They returned home in a light drizzle but happy, noting the evening was not dry.

The Kinetoscope makes a final Washington appearance at The Graham tonight with new and old views. Shows start at 8 30 sharp and admission is refundable if not satisfied. This could be the last chance to see this marvel in the city.

Spectacle fitting sale at W Morris jeweler

Mrs Gene Anderson scalded her arm when a tea urn toppled from a watch chain causing a painful blister. The attending physician opened blisters this morning for relief. Store advertises spectacle fittings May 17 and 18 with refund of goods if not approved.

Munro V Burham heads into closing pleas in Justice Maxwell court

The Munro versus Burham suit continues in Justice Maxwell's court with closing pleas expected tonight. Testimony concluded this morning and the jury, sent out at eleven, had not yet reached a verdict by three o clock. Local visitors include Miss Pearl White and Miss Stella Davidson, while Miss Cornelia Class returns to her office amid green frescoing. Farmers plan corn planting and stay away until evening.

A large crowd crowded the North Side area as a piano and organ sale offered factory costs and easy payments. The run included Kimball organs and mentions of local shoppers and residents such as Frank Webb and Mrs. Harmon, with parties like J.
