Miller Dies Near Wellman at 77
Jacob C. Miller, 77, died at his home northwest of Wellman after a long illness. Funeral services will be held at his home tomorrow at 2 PM with Rev Paul Hann of the Wellman Methodist Episcopal church officiating. Interment will follow in Wassonville cemetery. He is survived by his wife, three daughters Helen V. Miller and Hazel V. Miller at home and Mrs C Niffenegger of West Chester, and three grandchildren Ivan, Dean and Helen Niffenegger of West Chester.

Peter L. Eicher 79 father of Leslie M. Eicher of Washington died about 1 am at his Wayland home after a heart attack. He had not been well for a month. Private funeral Friday at 2 pm at the home with interment in Eicher cemetery. Born Feb 6 1859 in Henry County he moved to Washington County then to Wayland area. Survived by wife Lydia and three sons Clayton Clarence D and one daughter and five grandchildren.

J C Cannon of Crawford township was elected president with David McLaughlin of Washington as vice president and Richard Stephens of Oregon township as secretary and treasurer of the new Washington County Beef Producers and Feeders association formed after a beef producers meeting at the courthouse attended by about 30 men from 12 of 15 townships.
