Chicago Market Report Tracks Hogs Cattle and Weaker Wheat

Daily market reports show hogs around 180 to 216 in the Chicago area with top near 7.95 and receipts about 19 000. Cattle and sheep receipts listed with fat lambs active and sheep prices rising. beef steer top around 16 56 and veal calves noted. Official yesterday totals show sizable receipts and shipments, with grain prices for wheat corn oats and rye documented by Beach-Wickham Grain Co. Speer of Washington Iowa delivered a carload of hogs to the Chicago Producers Commission Association as home market demand remains uneven.
