Deferred judgment revoked for local man in district court
District Court Judge William Cahill revoked the deferred judgment of Kim A. Wasson of Wellman and accepted a guilty plea on resisting a law officer. Sentencing on the revocation and new charge is set for May 22 at 9 a.m. Wasson, 19, faced gas theft from a bulk tank. larceny charge to be dismissed. In other action John L. Courtney, 24, of Washington received a six month suspended sentence after pleading guilty to an OMVAS charge. He was placed on probation and license suspended.
