A man with little money raises a gosling into a goose to feed guests for a grand dinner. The goose grows huge and outsmarts the plan, culminating in the goose devouring the man instead of the other way around, as reported by the Detroit Journal. Also included are verses on Mother's doughnuts and a testimonial for Electric Bitters from Tampa, Florida.
One hundred dollar reward offered for any catarrh cure not achieved by Hall's Catarrh Cure. F J Cheney Co of Toledo supported by Walding Kinnan Marvin endorse the firm. Cure taken internally and sold by druggists at 75 cents per bottle. Also Hall's Family Pills for constipation advertised.
Readers are urged to plan a visit to Washington for the W. P. Ha Show on May 17. The Daily X Ray of Charles City praised the afternoon performance as lively and novel with a tent full of delighted spectators. The show promises a fresh bill with no omissions and will repeat variations in the evening.
Fred L. Stewart advertises a carload of Pittsburg Field fence for immediate sale. The fence will be offered well below current market price and interested buyers are to see Stewart in the opera house block. 67-61
A Calhoun Georgia resident touts Dr. King's New Discovery for bronchitis and la grippe. He claims two doctors failed to help his wife but a 50 cent bottle, or one dollar size, eased her cough and produced sleep. Trial bottle offered.

It notes critics applaud his work while urging audiences to judge for themselves at the Graham on May 13, 20 21. It also discusses Carnegie gifts, pensions, and American individualism with reference to Colliers May 13. Publicity and advertising message conclude the piece.
George L. Chubb of Harlan Michigan praises Chamberlain's Cough Remedy as the best cough medicine he has used and asserts it cures a cold faster than any other treatment. The ad notes it should be kept at home for quick use and lists Stewart's Pharmacy and Cook & Sherman as retailers.
