Preliminary plans for Memorial Day observances in Washington were announced by Everett R. Burham, general chairman. The program centers on forenoon events with cemetery talks at Elm Grove and Woodlawn and a parade from the square at 10 o clock. Paraders will include the American Legion drum corps, Washington Concert band, municipal band, and school bands, plus Troop F, 113th Cavalry and veterans.
