Sylvia Roberts married Lyle George Crawford in a Saturday afternoon ceremony at Associate Presbyterian Church. Eighteen members of the Little Flower Circle gathered Thursday evening at Mrs. Virgil Lintz home. Mrs. Paul Hazelett accepted the role of new leader for the coming year. April Cedar Township Farm Bureau Women Host Guest Speaker
Mrs Wayne Knupp led the Cedar Township Farm Bureau Women April meeting with 14 members present. Gary Murphy shared photos and notes from his New Zealand trip staying with 12 families and covering 25 000 to 30 000 miles. Mrs David Norman thanked helpers for Rural Urban Women’s Day as funds for the International Friendship Fund and Scholarship Fund were collected. A May 4 Iowa City tour was announced and refreshments were provided by Mrs Keith Stewart and Mrs Robert Stephens.
