AWOL Soldier Held For 21 Burglaries
Delbert Richard Newman an AWOL 21-year-old from Jerome Idaho admitted 21 burglaries from Portland to Billings and Bismarck and was bound over to district court on three burglary charges after waiving a preliminary hearing. Police said he committed three local Burglaries in Bismarck within hours of arriving. He was arrested at a rooming house following a depot clerk tip.

Vote to Cut Tax on Economy Cigarettes by House Panel
