Highteen representatives from various groups met in the east room of the YMCA on Monday evening March 29 to form the Washington Senior Citizens Council. Dr H Lee Jacobs of the State University Institute of Gerontology spoke on services and starting plans. Temporary officers include Dennis Stutrud as chairman Norman Schoonover as vice chair Ruth Nolin as secretary treasurer. Each organization will contribute 10 dollars to start funds. A four member survey planning committee was appointed with a report due April 30.
