Four teens hurt in Route six crash near Washington
A 17 year old Wayland youth Thomas Richenberger was killed when the car left the highway six miles south of Washington. Driver Ronald Boshart 17 and passengers James Henss 18 William Thoma 18 and Rodney Boshart 13 were injured. Rodney Boshart was taken to University Hospital Iowa City with a compound leg fracture and head lacerations. The driver was charged with failure to have his car under control. The crash occurred at the Wayland black top road and a county road leading to Sockum Ridge park.
